Have you ever put a t-shirt or sweater on incorrectly? Yes, it’s embarrassing when this happens, and you probably appreciate someone discretely telling you. In English we use a pair of opposite words to describe this situation.
For example: Um, I think your shirt is inside out. The tag at the back is showing. No wonder I wasn’t comfortable. My sweater was on back to front.
A similar pair is “upside down”. Obviously this is not going to be used to talk about clothing but will come in handy in many other situations.
